Use these steps to deploy a Windows-based barcode scanning station (named BC). This is part of a larger download of the Standard Time Windows Desktop client application. BC is a smaller utility inside Standard Time. It is used for scanning barcodes on the shop floor. Deploy BC instead of the full ST app so users can only scan, and cannot get into any admin areas of the larger program. Although you must download and install the full ST, you can then deploy BC to tablets on the shop floor where workers will use them to scan barcodes.
